Maegan Szot passed away in 2007 of ovarian cancer at the age of 23. Maegan fought this disease with a remarkable level of courage and optimism and was able to work with the doctors at M.D. Anderson and the Blanton-Davis Research Center on new treatments for Ovarian Cancer.
